SCRAMBLED LYRIC EGGS IN ACTION

Thanks for today's instant lyrics to Darrin's Scrambled Lyric Eggs program.

UNTITLED ONE
Maybe it's all just a phase
safe in comforted knowledge
april snow
meatwood flack

When there will be
The gentle demise
the elements conspire
The soft embrace of destruction

You said there was no way
Saw you stumble
Wisdom awaits
The velvet decline

THE VELVET DECLINE
Feel nothing
Without faith
Celebrates

Another time
IRR3 lyric stabs
ROAD
Orchids of fear

Filling the void
Working by hand
Cauldron of emptiness
Kneel before me

4. Hope
Screaming alone
Identical twins
It all comes down

without fire
Someone else's land
Who is your lord
Open up into

Apart
Taste the shallow abyss
In half an hour
Morningshadow

Loss of hope
Suffering inside
Accept what is given
To embrace the absence

UNTITLED TOO

for what could've been
don't worry
agony
you just broke my spine

you're not sorry...asshole
dismay
metronomic shadow
you know it's on its way

atomsphere
the siren screams
i'm only programmed to fuck
where you've been

the forbidden dreams of (your name here)
so much to loose
this golden cage
pixelatedsound

feel the wind on my face
boring or subtle
thanks for the plastic
emotional smash & grab

in the scheme of things
Yes, I'm Sure that you alone have unlocked the mystery of Stonehenge.
but I can't force myself
Take

sinking
autographedguitar
feed the fire
not to be confused with

TAKE ANOTHER LITTLE PIECE OF MY DESK
regret
Time
all you do is... take

glittering
and handed it back
THERE'S NOTHING HOLY ABOUT WAR
what you've seen

the siren sings
and even when you tell me now
for what should've been
in the scheme of things

Imposed randomness still cracks me up. Especially how much of this stuff rhymes or tells a weird little story now. Not bad for scrambling together two unused sets of lyrics with one set of unused titles. The stuff in all caps is titles.

Ha.

Okay, one more for the road.

UNTITLED FREE

The briefest of flings
Robbed of its consequence
agony
the siren sings

She possessed
glittering
sinking
hypnotic symmetry

What is life when
screened emotions
in the scheme of things
One man says to another

tranquil resolution
Down through the years
dismay
I'm here for the nightlife

superimposed environment
The room was quiet
Where's the finesse
this golden cage

shadowy conditions
calm awareness
fragile presence
Don't even know the teams

Holiday overseas
in the scheme of things
Left behind
Don't really care to be honest

Barely speak the language
the siren screams
I'm not looking for trouble
Don't understand the rules

for what could've been
spontaneous monoprint
regret
contained awareness

for what should've been
Where is the style
What's left
This gradual erosion

underlying mechanism
I'm not a troublemaker
confusion
this Silent decline

feed the fire
Came to be silent
Cried no tears
I'm better than you

Only a shadow
After the love

sweet! you'll have to try using the options where you can define a repeating chorus and all that happy crap.

My favorite little things to do are:
1) creating 'lost songs' from Kiss by taking all the lyrics from a specific album and scrambling them
2) grabbing lyrics for songs that have similar titles; like all songs have colors in their lyrics or all songs mention a street.

Funny thing is I'm not even sure I have the source code for this little program any more. Which is quite sad since I'm sure I could do more with it. Though, quite honestly, if you know how to use it, it's quite robust. Yeah, I'm sure adding chords would be cool, but that would involve me having some understanding of keys, which I don't. It would end up just being random notes with flats or sharps thrown in. I at least know which notes don't get sharped or flatted.
*shrug*

Glad you got some use out of it.

I found the source code, btw. Not that it matters, really. :-p

THESE CHORDS ARE LIKE FAMILY TO ME

Ian C Stewart "These Chords are like Family to Me" MP3 From the 2003 made-to-be-made-not-made-to-be-heard album I Don't Know Why You Think I Won't Kill You .... this is the last song. This was the beginning of my dabbling with intentional randomness in songwriting. The lyrics for the whole album were compiled from albums by other artists that I enjoyed a lot, such as Adrian Belew's Twang Bar King , The Cure's Pornography , Voivod Nothingface , Mercyful Fate Melissa etc. I wrote out entire lines of their phrases and chopped them together. I think at the time I described it as 'sad psychedelic love songs about satan' overall, which is really being too generous. The music was also randomly chosen from tablature found on t'interwebs for favorite songs of mine. In general I played the chords in reverse order to the original songs but I can still kind of tell in a couple of places what the songs were. The titles were my own, obviously. Although I did cho

Daniel Prendiville - Burst Me Stitches feat Ian C Stewart on drums

portrait of the artists at a wedding, 1998 Daniel Prendiville "Burst Me Stitches" MP3 Burst Me Stitches is a song from Daniel Prendiville's forthcoming album, RAW MESH, which is due for release in the Autumn of 2008. The album will feature a remixed version of the song, so the first sentence in this paragraph was obviously a lie. The whole song was thrown together in a morning and then went through an extensive period of editing to get it into a serviceable condition. To paraphrase the old proverb, record in haste - edit at leisure. Poor ol' Daniel has been listening to too much Fall of late... Plus it makes use of the first of my 'let's jam, I'll play drums' files. So, well done that man.
